Condominiums Townhouses Events
The eighteen neighbourhoods in Richmond Hill provide homes for every real estate buyer and seller. Crosby and Harding provide most of the semi-detached homes in Town, while Crosby and Mill Pond are rich in century and heritage homes. North and South Richvale now have older subdivisions such as Don Head Village and Hunter's Point. But newer subdivisions have exploded throughout the Town in recent years. Oak Ridges, Lake Wilcox, Jefferson, Westbrook, Rouge Woods, Langstaff and Doncrest offer linked homes, townhouses, and detached homes in many styles and price ranges. Highrise condominiums have erupted along Yonge Street in Langstaff, South Richvale, North Richvale, Observatory, Harding, Crosby, Mill Pond and Devonsleigh. Transportation systems have improved with Viva and the G.O. bus systems. Highway 7 has been upgraded, and now Yonge Street is on route for the same look. Industrial subdivisions in Beaver Creek, Headford and the new Barker Business Park in Rural Richmond Hill provide employment opportunities for local residents as well as others from Toronto, Vaughan and Markham. Great schools, shopping and yearly events such as the Santa Claus Parade, the Winter Carnival and the Oak Ridges Fair keep Richmond Hill at the top of great places to live in York Region.
